The 124th Anniversary of ISNHS: A Magical Disney Celebration


The 124th Anniversary of Ilocos Sur National High School (ISNHS) is an important annual celebration that honors the school’s long history and achievements. It is a special event where students, teachers, and staff come together to celebrate the foundation of the school and its contribution to education. This year’s celebration was even more exciting because the theme was Disney. The theme of the field demonstration dance was Disney characters, which made the performances colorful, lively, and enjoyable for everyone.


Before the main event, students spent several days practicing for the field demonstration. Each group worked hard to perfect their dance steps, formations, and timing. The practices were tiring but also fun because we were preparing to perform in front of many people during the anniversary celebration.



Aside from practicing, students were also busy making props that would be used during the parade and the field demonstration. These props were inspired by different Disney characters and designs. Preparing the props required teamwork, creativity, and cooperation among classmates to make sure everything looked colorful and presentable.



On the day of the celebration, we had a parade around the school while wearing our PE uniforms and carrying our props. The parade was lively and exciting as students proudly represented their grade levels. Everyone showed their energy and school spirit while marching and displaying their prepared props.



The highlight of the celebration was the field demonstration, where each grade level performed their Disney-inspired dances. After the performances, the winners were announced. In the Boys Category, the winners were: 1st place – Grade 9, 2nd place – Grade 11, 3rd place – Grade 7, 4th place – Grade 10, and 5th place – Grade 8. In the Girls Category, the winners were: 1st place – Grade 11, 2nd place – Grade 8, 3rd place – Grade 7, 4th place – Grade 9, and 5th place – Grade 10. The event was memorable and full of excitement as we celebrated the 124th anniversary of our beloved school.
