Ilocos Sur National High School 2025 Intramurals: “Kakayahang Walang Kapantay: Lakas at Determinasyon Tungo sa Tagumpay ng Bagong Henerasyon”

 From September 4–7, 2025, Ilocos Sur National High School (ISNHS) embraced the spirit of “Kakayahang Walang Kapantay: Lakas at Determinasyon Tungo sa Tagumpay ng Bagong Henerasyon” during its annual intramurals. This year’s event highlighted the extraordinary talents of student-athletes through high-octane competitions in basketball, volleyball, badminton, athletics, and more. The gymnasium and outdoor courts buzzed with energy as teams battled fiercely, showcasing not only their physical prowess but also their unwavering determination to uphold their house colors. From nail-biting volleyball tiebreakers to sprint finals decided by milliseconds, every moment underscored the theme’s call for strength and perseverance in pursuit of victory.



In a nod to the digital age, ISNHS introduced iSports, a groundbreaking addition where students traded jerseys for joysticks in mobile gaming showdowns. Popular titles like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (ML) and Call of Duty: Mobile (CODM) took center stage, drawing crowds of spectators as gamers strategized and clashed in virtual arenas. The iSports zone became a hub of camaraderie, blending laughter and friendly trash-talk, proving that the “Bagong Henerasyon” thrives both on physical fields and digital battlegrounds. This innovative segment celebrated adaptability, with non-athletes stepping into the spotlight to demonstrate quick thinking and teamwork in a modern competitive landscape.




Beyond medals and trophies, the 2025 intramurals fostered unity across generations. Seasoned coaches mentored eager underclassmen, while alumni returned to cheer alongside current students, bridging the past and future. The closing ceremony on September 7th culminated in a vibrant parade of house banners and a fireworks display, symbolizing the bright potential of ISNHS’s youth. As the smoke cleared, one truth resonated: whether on the court or behind a screen, every participant embodied the lakas (strength) and determinasyon that will drive the “Bagong Henerasyon” toward endless possibilities.
