Beyond the Grades: Reflecting on What Truly Matters in My Learning Journey

Throughout the experience in 1st Quarter, I gained valuable skills in creating blogs and deepened my understanding of internet fundamentals, such as how browsers work, internet access, and historical timelines and more. These discoveries expanded my technical knowledge and digital literacy, equipping me with tools to navigate the digital world more confidently. However, I faced challenges in not staying focused during lessons, which made it harder to absorb information and perform well on quizzes. Distractions and occasional lapses in concentration often left me struggling to keep up with the material.

To address this, I consciously prioritized staying engaged during discussions and reflected on the negative consequences of not paying attention, like lower scores or gaps in understanding, to motivate myself. This self-awareness helped me adopt a more disciplined approach to learning. Moving forward, I plan to maintain this proactive mindset by minimizing distractions, participating actively in lessons, and reviewing topics regularly. Setting small, achievable goals for each study session and rewarding myself for progress will also help me stay motivated and improve my performance. By combining focus, consistency, and self-reflection, I aim to turn these lessons into lasting growth.
